Beginners Kundalini Yoga
Mondays 6.30pm - In the lakeside wellness studio
Feel free to join at any point during the course. This Kundalini Yoga course will take you right from the beginning. Breaking down the breath work, the actions (Kriyas), mediation process and relaxation. The scientific technology of Kundalini works on all of the bodies systems to return balance (homeostasis) to the body, mind and soul. It is a type of yoga so very different from the rest. Kundalini works into the nervous system deliberately switching between stress and relaxation (sympathetic & Parasympathetic nervous system). The practice awakens sleepy energy in the spine known as Kundalini. Optional strong breath work known as ‘breath of fire’ elevates awareness of our energy system. Learning and repeating mantra to build the minds ability to be focused. The class is 75 minutes due to an essential meditation and relaxation process.
The transformational power of Kundalini lies in the actual experience, come and see for yourself!
This class is open to all levels from complete beginners to long term students but until you get used to the kriyas and the breath work there will be opportunity to take this at your own pace. The Kriyas (sets) will be carefully considered for beginners. Always checking in with yourself and your practice.
