Sound vibrations have been used for centuries for deep meditation and to support healing and well being. Your body is made up of 60% water. The vibrations of the gong will ripple through your body to release energy blockages and stagnation in our energy channels.
A gong bath is known to have many stress relieving and healing benefits.
There are a few different names for a Gong Bath, such as a Sound Bath, Gong & Healing and Sound Gong. It’s a natural way to help relax the body and calm a busy mind, using sound vibrations.
During a gong session, you will usually lie down on mats and get cosy with blankets, pillows and eye masks if preferred. This is a form of meditation.
The session facilitator will then begin by playing the gongs whilst the relaxing participants soak up the benefits of the sounds. This particular Gong Bath session lasts between 40 to 50 minutes.
